FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO WE NEED A BUILDING PERMIT TO START DIGGING?
No we do not need a building permit to dig a hole. However, you should check with your local municipality for any fence height restrictions in your region. Some areas allow for a 6’ fence while others allow 7’. We will take care of contacting Ontario One Call to request a free locate for you.
HOW DEEP DO WE DIG?
We have augers of varying sizes; from 9” to 12” and each one can dig fence postholes or deck footings up to 48” deep.
Will our equipment harm your lawn or driveway?
As long as the grass isn’t saturated with water, there should be no damage to your lawn.
Do we have insurance?
Yes we are fully licensed and insured through the WSIB and have private liability coverage for your protection and ours.
